The U-17 Total Prodigy girls continue to improve finishing with a 3-1 record over the weekend. Blue Valley Soccer Club, a Super F Power House, gave Prodigy the closest games, with BVSC Rowdies 93/94 taking up the first game. Erica kept up her scoring rampage in the Super F, leading the team in scoring in game one with four goals to her name. Lacey and Marin baged two a piece with Emma rounding off the scoring, cruising to a 10-3 victory. Up next was a strong BVSC Barcelona team, outscoring the Prodigy girls 5-2. Halie O and Marin bagged a goal a piece against the home team.
Up next was KC Fusion’s Spark Blue with Prodigy getting off to an early start. Emma again led the way scoring hitting a hat trick, while Marin bagged two. Abby, Erica, Hali H, and Halie O all scored with Spark Blue putting one in their own net as Total won 11-4. KC Atletico gave Prodigy a run for their money, but Abby lead the way in scoring ensuring the girls won the game 4-2. Abby hit twice, while Erica and Marin scored once, with every girl scoring at least once over the weekend. The final win puts the girls at 6-1-1 on the season, with 56 goals for and 27 against.
The U15 girls went 2-2 in their four games in the Super F, with their first game against the Blue Valley Soccer Club Stars Courage. In the opening game of the weekend, TDSC found it difficult to break down their KC Rivals. Emily ended up supplying the goal to end matter 1-1. The girls finally found their shooting boots against No Game with Brittany leading the way with a hat trick, with Emily notching a goal and two assists. Drianna scored once to end the game 5-5.
Sunday proved to be a more successful day, with the late scoring run against their last opponents fresh on their minds when Mo Valley Rapids stepped up. Hayle lead the game in points, with a hat trick and an assist, with Drianna also getting a hat trick. Heather had two goals, with Alex and Crosby getting a goal a piece, with Alex also notching an assist. Emily and Brittany also had assists, with Brittany forcing an own goal to win the game 13-1.
Game two on Sunday allowed TDSC a stronger opponent against the KC Sun Devils. Drianna and Alex had two goals a piece, while Brittany had a goal an assist. Crosby notched a goal, with Haylee notching two assists in the 6-2 victory.
The U14 Boys had a hugely successful weekend in Kansas City, going 4-0 in their league in the Super F. Game one was against Nitros, with Jacob and Alex sharing the goalkeeping duties, with Jacob making four saves, and Alex making two saves and letting in one goal. Kyle and Joshua J scored the most, notching four goals and one a piece, with Tyler scoring three and assisting four times. Tony also notched impressive numbers, hitting twice and being provider three times. Parker, Alex and Jack all had a goal a piece, with Jack having two assists, with Avery notching an assist, in a 16-1 victory.
Jacob and Alex both shared the goal against Predators in match two, with each keeper letting in a goal a piece, with Jacob notching three saves, and Alex having eight saves. Tony lead the team in points, with two goals and two assists, with Kyle just behind with two goals and an assist. Avery, Alex, Joshua J, and Tyler all getting one goal with Jacob and Jack getting an assist a piece, with TDSC winning 8-2.
Game three was against Nighthawks, with Jacob notching nine saves and letting in two goals. Tyler lead the team in points with two goals and four assists, with Kyle and Tony each gettings two goals an an assist. Alex notched a goal and an assist, with Avery scoring once and Joshua J notching an assist. TDSC went on to win the game 8-2.
Kyle and Tyler split the last game of the weekend in goal, with Nitros on the table again. Kyle made five saves with three goals against, while Tyler made four saves and let in three goals. Jacob lead the team with five goals and three assist, with Jack hitting for four. Kyle took the field to score twice and notch an assist, while Parker had a goal and an assist while Joshua J had a goal and two assists. Tyler had three assists in his time on the field, spurring the team to a 13-6 victory.
TDSC will have a few weeks off before traveling back to Kansas City for the Valentines Day edition of the Super F from February 13-14.
