Three teams reach Semi-Finals in National Tournament

Total Demize SC sent 10 teams to to the Super F National Futsal Championship Cup.  The National Tournament is comprised of regional champions who come to Kansas City, Missouri to compete in the National finals.

 

The speed of play was always a challenge for Total, with three teams able to rise above the rest throughout the opening stages.  TDSC U10 and U11 boys both qualified through to the semi-finals, as did the U17 Total Prodigy squad.

 

The U10B started the tournament against the division finalists, playing Cleveland Legends U10B.  The boys learned what it was to face an elite Super F squad, and used their momentum to take it to KC Fusion - Brewer winning 10-4.  In the Semi Final game BVSC Stars Porto got off to a quick 3-0 lead through some mental lapses, and struggled to outscore their opponents, falling 9-3 in the semi's.

 

The U11 boys team also struggled against eventual division champions Kaw Valley Force Santos, but picked it up against KC United.  A strong showing in the first half saw TDSC lead 5-2, but KC United came back to give the Springfield squad a run for their money, equalizing in the final minutes.  After a list of chances, Total finally put the game away winning 7-5 for spot in the semis.  Total then fell in the semis to tournament finalists Blue Moose Real.

 

The U17 Girls team, Total Prodigy, seemed to pick up on the strategy and struggled against BVSC Stars villa Real Black in the opening game.  After a three hour break, the girls were back to action, Pink Ladies FC - U18 the competition.  After a tough game, Total Prodigy battled to a 6-4 victory that saw them book a place in the semi finals.  Their opposition came hard with goal scoring power, and ended up winning the HSG's Blue division.
